A group of absolute seed geeks, to be honest. For decades now, our passion for only the best genetics made us a super specialist in a selection of top quality vegetable seeds. Our style: hands-on and straight up. Typically Dutch, some say.

Our breeding strategy has always been to connect instinct and innovation. We’ve successfully built our business on a strategy of in-depth trialling, more than anyone else, we dare say. We’ve always worked closely with various renowned global universities, in order to include the latest scientific insights in our work. Since 2019, we’re a part of KWS, which has already brought us immense technical benefits in breeding.

The guy with the classy hat? Our founder, Popke Vriend, way back in the sixties. When he already traveled the world for the best breeding conditions. Fun fact: Vriend means friend in Dutch. And that’s how we still see our business relationships. We are in it for the long term, and are proud and honored that many of our clients have been with us for decades.
