Sweet Corn

Excellent yield characteristics combined with good processing performance turned Pop Vriend Seeds sweet corn varieties into well-known favourites throughout the processing industry.

We hold this position thanks to a well-considered decision back in 1990 to select and joint develop hybrid varieties of one of the world's leading sweet corn breeders. Nowadays, Pop Vriend Seeds sweet corn varieties are seen as a standard for reliable, strong and well-performing plants with excellent recovery that delivers tasty, sweet or super sweet corn.

Genetically engineered corn? No. Pop Vriend Seeds offers sweet corn varieties without using genetic engineering techniques. For us, that is simply a no-go area. We test every sweet corn seed lot for adventitious presence of GMO and supply GMO-test certificates.

You can download the technical specification as pdf file per type or create a custom pdf file by selecting the varieties.

Figures and information in this brochure are based on the average results of large scale plantings under European conditions and may vary with local environmental and agronomic conditions, grower skills, microclimate and soil structure. Resistance is the ability of a plant variety to restrict the growth and development of a specified pest or pathogen and/or the damage they cause when compared to susceptible plant varieties under similar environmental conditions and pest or pathogen pressure. Resistant varieties may exhibit some disease symptoms or damage under heavy pest or pathogen pressure.
